Alloy 625 has many features that make it high-performance for many applications. Industries that use alloy 625 include: Aerospace, Chemical, Offshore and Marine, Nuclear, Oil and Natural Gas.

Inconel 625 is a good choice for the Offshore industry as in environments with seawater, fresh water and natural salts there is almost no attack. Alloy 625 is part of a broad range on Inconel alloys that are popular within the Aerospace industry. In fact, Inconel alloy 718 has been used by SpaceX for the new SuperDraco engine.
