Incoloy 825

Common trade names include alloy 825, UNS N08825. INCOLOY ® 825 is a registered trade name of Special Metals Corporation.
Incoloy 825 is a Nickel-iron-chromium blend alloy that has additions of titanium, copper and molybdenum.

Incoloy 825 Properties

incoloy-825-composition (1)

This alloy was designed for excellent corrosion resistance in extreme environments. The molybdenum properties give Incoloy 825 good pitting and crevice corrosion resistance.

The nickel and molybdenum combined gives incredible resistance to reducing environments, particularly those with phosphoric and sulfuric acids present. It is commonly used within the Chemical industry.

Titanium adds appropriate resistance in areas of temperature increase. Standard machining operations can be used with Incoloy 825. (Pictured) Incoloy 825 aqueous corrosion chart, showing the resistance levels against forms of aqueous corrosion.

Incoloy 825 Applications

Incoloy 825 is popular due to its overall properties, price and availability. Alloy 825 holds a resistance to a range of oxidising substances such as nitric acid. It can retain strength from cryogenic temperatures up to an impressive 400C and higher.

Incoloy 825 Tube Fittings

Popular size tube fittings in the alloy 825 material are currently in stock. Raw material is held to readily make-to-order. Compression fittings include bulkhead couplings, tees, elbows and adaptors, both single and double ferrule.

Standard sizing of our fittings in Incoloy 825 is up to 1” or 25mm tube OD.
Bespoke solutions can be provided when large quantities of Incoloy 825 tube and tubing components are needed.

Incoloy 825 Tube

3 metres is our standard and most popular tube length. Incoloy 825 tube can be supplied with your 825 fittings and valves for a complete set, ready for installation.
