On Friday 31st, Waverley Brownall greeted their awaited arrival
– a brand new, STAR SR-32J (Type N) CNC Machine.
This machine was lifted into the premises via roller and crane assistance,
and will be added to WB’s already extensive list of CNC machines
in the manufacturing workshop.
Main Features
- Main and sub-spindles: C-axis control
- Six 16mm turning tools
- Rigid sleeved main construction
- 32-35mm machining diameter
- Heavy duty cutting capability
- 5 Cross power tools
- Swing out operation panel (Fanuc 32i-B)
This Star CNC Lathe is known for its impressive and efficient machining abilities, offering the same speed and versatility as a traditional sliding head lathe – without the requirement of a guide bush. More parts can be processed and machined from raw materials, due to the decrease in remnant length.
