Our stainless steel needle valves are general-purpose, which allows them to be used for gas or liquid applications. This application should be where the isolation of flow, equalisation and the venting of pressure are the main objectives.

Our 316 needle valves are available with a variety of end connections from ¼” to ¾”.

This permits for a combination of ends from NPT, BSPP, BSPT and both single & double ferrule OD compression.

Features of our stainless steel needle valves include, non-rotating ball tips, self-adjusting shaft seal that requires no maintained and a large choice of body materials.

Up to 10,000psi
Temperatures up to 400C
Needle valves can be manufactured to NACE (MR-01-75) standard on request

Stainless Steel Needle Valves: Testing And Inspection

All of our needle valves here at Waverley Brownall are 100% tested in accordance with BS122-1: 2003.

Shell Test: 1.5 X maximum working pressure
Seat Test: 1.1 X maximum working pressure
