Relief Valve Materials
The standard material for our relief valves is stainless steel 316. However, special metals can be used to enhance the overall corrosion resistance and durability of your valve in extreme conditions.
We offer: Incoloy 825, 6MO, Monel 400, Titanium, Hastelloy, Inconel 625 and Duplex/Super Duplex Stainless Steel. A full listing on materials of construction and material certifications can be provided on request.
Waverley Brownall also offer Positive Material Identification (PMI) testing with state of the art equipment.
Each relief valve is individually tested for pressure relief operation and sealing performance based on BS 6755 P1.
The Waverley Brownall inspection engineers also ensure the safety and quality of your relief valve.
State of the art test guns can be used to positively identify the exact materials and alloy consistency within your fittings and valves.
